Your current Editorial Policy is good, so keep most of it. Make these four changes, and only after the articles are cleaned up, so the policy matches what’s on the site.
- Add a “Who writes QuoteGlow” section at the top: QuoteGlow is written and edited by Drake Golden, the site’s founder. Every collection is drafted, reviewed, and published by him, and older articles are re-checked regularly.
- Replace the “Use of Artificial Intelligence” section with: We sometimes use AI-assisted tools to research topics, suggest structure, or draft early versions. Every message is then rewritten, edited, and checked by a person before publication. We do not publish automated output without human review, and we remove any article that does not meet these standards.
- Add a “Quotes and attribution” section: When we include a quotation from a known person, we name the person it is attributed to. If an attribution is disputed or unverified, we label it “commonly attributed to.” Bible verses name the translation used.
- Make “Sponsored and Commercial Content” plain text. Remove the quotation marks around the paragraph and add: “QuoteGlow is supported by display advertising, including Google AdSense. Advertisers do not influence our content.”
Also add a line under Corrections: “Send corrections to beastworld2345@gmail.com; we review them within 5 business days.”
